Tension in ECWA Church Fwavie Ciki Rayfield as Unknown Man Disrupts Service Over Road Incident, But Forgiveness Prevails

Unknown Man Disrupts Service Over Road Incident, But Forgiveness Prevails!
A dramatic scene unfolded today at ECWA Church Fwavie Ciki, Rayfield Jos, when an unidentified man stormed the church, raising tension among worshippers. The disruption began when the man, seemingly furious, started picking up phone calls in front of the congregation without courtesy, causing unrest.

The cause of his anger was later revealed. Earlier that morning, Daddy Mohammed Hamza, a dedicated church elder in his late 70s, had been rushing to church when he accidentally hit an Igbo man with his car. The impact removed the victim’s bike plate number. Unaware that he was at fault, Daddy Hamza had sincerely apologized and taken responsibility by reporting the case to the police station.

However, instead of resolving the matter peacefully, the victim brought his frustration to the church, disrupting the service. Despite this, the situation took a turn for the better when, at the police station, he finally chose forgiveness and let go of the issue.
Moral Lesson to the Youth

If an elderly man like Daddy Mohammed Hamza, in his late 70s, can be this committed to God's work—rushing to church with so much energy and dedication—what excuse do we, in our 20s and 30s, have for neglecting God’s house? Let this serve as a reminder that nothing should come before our devotion to God. May we learn from this act of commitment and forgiveness!
